§ thesis

What we back.

We invest in founders building durable businesses in the physical and digital worlds. Our perspective is shaped by operating real businesses, not by managing a fund — that means we underwrite problems, not narratives.

§ 02 · themes
  1. 01

    Applied AI for traditional industries

AI that gets adopted in markets that don't read tech press — trades, real estate, agriculture, legal. We like wedges that ride a workflow no one else wants to go near.

  2. 02

Vertical SaaS & operating systems for physical work

Tooling for the people who build, repair, and move things. Fragmented buyers, deep workflows, durable retention.

  3. 03

    Real estate & agriculture tech

Markets we operate in. We can underwrite them — not theoretically, but from first-hand P&L scars.

  4. 04

    Tools for cognition

Hardware, software, and protocols at the edge of what we know about attention, memory, and learning.

§ 03 · fit
  • Founders with a non-obvious insight into the market they’re attacking, ideally earned by operating in it.
  • Companies where the moat compounds — distribution, regulation, trust, network effects, or hard-won data.
  • Teams who write a clear two-paragraph email instead of a twelve-page deck. We can read decks. We prefer clarity.
§ 04 · out of scope

We won’t be the right partner for these. Saying so up front saves both sides time.

  • Crypto and digital assets
  • Consumer social & creator economy
  • Thin wrappers on public LLMs
  • Late-stage growth and pre-IPO
  • Ad-supported media
  • Anything we don’t understand
